Pritzker Levine represents more than 130 investors in a federal receivership action brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission against a series of investment funds and their organizers.  Pritzker Levine was retained to represent the interests of the fund investors and to advocate for an alternate distribution plan more favorable to the investors’ interests.  As a result of the work done by the firm, the District Court ultimately adopted a distribution plan, over the objections of the SEC and the receiver, that incorporated the key elements of the alternate plan put forward by Pritzker Levine.  The litigation is ongoing.
