November 26, 2018 (Oakland, CA) – Pritzker Levine LLP partners Jonathan K. Levine and Elizabeth C. Pritzker obtained a multi-million dollar verdict on behalf of German software firm ITyX Solutions AG against Kodak Alaris Inc., successfully concluding a 10-day jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.  The jury delivered its favorable verdict after less than two hours of deliberations.  The jury found that Kodak failed to make contractually required payments to ITyX and that Kodak had improperly competed with ITyX after terminating the parties’ relationship, and awarded ITyX damages totalling approximately $7.5 million (plus interest).  The jury rejected all of Kodak’s counterclaims against ITyX and its corporate parents (ITyX Technology GmbH and ITyX Systemwicklung OHG) and founders (Suleyman Arayan and Heiko Groftschik).
